He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence J. Hammer and Eunice Hammer (Penn); his wife Gloria Hammer (Mabe); and his son Greg Hammer. He is survived by: his children, Darryl Hammer (Naomi Trimble), Todd Hammer (Carmen), Tommy Myers, Bryan Taft (Shelly), Bret Routson (Kristie), Shelley McQuistion, Tomma Hartz, Donna Hammer and Kim Seibert. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren; eighty-one great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
