She was predeceased by: her father Otha Shaffer; her spouse Francis Roy; and her brothers, Larry and Donnie Shaffer. She is survived by: her children, Greg Roy (Jeannette "Jan") of Findlay and Sandi Martin-La (Dawn La Roche); and her granddaughters, Shana Martin and Monique Podach (Andy).
