She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph B. Esselman and Margaret L. Esselman (Starrett); her husband Jerald R. Sherman I; her daughter-in-law Vicki Sherman; her grandchildren, Phillip and Dillon Bollinger; and her brother Joseph Esselman.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Sherman of Findlay, Jerald R. Sherman II of St. John's, AZ, Jillynda Kirian (Joshua) of Republic, Julia Afflick (Andrew) of Alpharetta, GA and Jennifer Winkleski (James) of Miamisburg; and her siblings, Mary Brater and Paul Esselman of Los Angeles, CA.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
