He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Steyer and Rita Steyer (Elckert). He is survived by: his close friend Pat Laube; his sons, Kevin Steyer and Cary Steyer (Theresa); his stepsons, Mike Brown, Jason Laube (Sandi), Chris Laube (Gayle) and Ryan Laube; and his sister Marcia Steyer. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
