He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Placke and Julian Placke; his son Vincent Placke; and his granddaughter Macie Preston. He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Wolbert; his children, Andrew Placke (Kerrie) of Ohio City and Jeanann Thomas (Jim) of Findlay; his grandchildren, Crystal Koon (Mike) of Vandalia, Christopher Placke (Katie) of West Milton, Kelsie Preston of Greenville, Audrianna Placke of Wapakoneta and Tayler Thomas of Findlay; and his great grandchildren, Hendrix, Charletta, Barrett, Ray and Hunter.
