He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peterman and Carrie Peterman (Hunley); his former wife Maxine Peterman; his granddaughter Dee Peterman; and his siblings, Eddie Peterman and Mary Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche Peterman; his children, Don Peterman (Rebecca), Michael Peterman (Janet), Robert Peterman (Lori), Jamie Peterman (Sylvia), Belinda Smith, Beverly May (Rob), Tonya Wilson (Earl) and Chrissy Peterman; and his brothers, Earl Peterman of Tampa and Andrew Peterman of Ashland, Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
