He is survived by: his children, Mitchell Peters of Valparaiso, Candis Deitrick of Findlay and Shawn Irving of Cape Coral, Florida; and his grandchildren, Kristina Higgins (Jeremie), Melissa Peterson, Steven Irving, Ryan Peters (Kelly), Elliott Peters, Jared Roy, Tanika Briney and Brandon Austin. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
