He was predeceased by: his parent Paul G. Archer Sr.; his wife Loretta F. Archer; his daughter Robin Waits; and his grandson Shawn Shorten. He is survived by: his parent Cleo M. Archer (Stratton); his daughter Vicky Walls of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Tracy Shorten, Michael Shorten, Patrick Shorten, Tonia Vorhies (Chris), Teresa Streitenberger (Jeremy) and John Waits (Amanda); his sister Beverly Lou Bradley of Heath; and his son-in-law Galen Waits of Buford.
