We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2021, at the age of 92, Charles Lail of Felicity, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Esther Marie Lail; and his siblings, Edward Lail and Sue Garrison. He is survived by: his wife Virginia F. Ellis Lail; his children, Mark Edward Lail (Ruth) and Marilyn Joyce Maynard (James); his granddaughters, Sally Root (Robert), Betsy Martin (Jeremiah), Sarah Washam (Jason), Lydia Lail, Leah Lail (Joshua Eubanks), Moriah Lail and Julia Kornis (Zachary); and his brother Richard Lail (Ruth). He is also survived by 8 Great-Grandchildren.

“I remember my Uncle Doc fondly. Most Sundays growing up we spent some time on his farm and we made some wonderful memories. I knew he worked hard on the farm alongside my grandfather, but he also managed to hold a full time job as well as pursuing hobbies and other interests. There were always stories about what Doc was "up to." He managed to be a good husband and father as well. Uncle Doc and my grandfather made the best homemade ice cream you can imagine. Lois Lamb”
