We bid farewell to Shirley J. Paison (Fayette, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 6, 2024 at the age of 92. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dayton M. Cox and Perley Cox (Cornell); her husband Kenneth; her daughter-in-law Jackie Paison; and her siblings, Dayton Cox and Joyce Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Paison, Portia Garza (Roger), Janet Payton (Jim) and Michele Short (Bruce). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fayette United Methodist Church (305 E Main St, Fayette, OH 43521). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
