He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin "Fuzz" Hand and Mildred "Mid" Hand (Town); and his siblings, Sherry Dietrich and Donald Hand. He is survived by: his significant other Brenda Gayle Layfield; his sons, Kerry Hand (Dianna) of Ney, OH, Shawn Hand (Sheila) of Fort Wayne, IN and Craig Hand (Stacy) of Bryan, OH; his brothers, Melvin Hand of Austin, TX, Tony Hand (Deana) of Fayette, Mike Hand (Debbie) of West Unity and Ronnie Hand (Petra) of Germany; his grandsons, Shay Hand and Jesse Hand of Bryan; his pet Wendy; and also Sandy Lash of Kendallville, IN.
