He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Pheils and Ethel Pheils (Benner); and his brother Ken Pheils. He is survived by: his wife Andrea J. Saldaña; his son Clayton W. Pheils of Fayette; his siblings, Claudia Smith (John) of Bowling Green, Mary Madigan of Toledo, Kim Cornell (Dave) of Rossford, Judy Hambleton (Tom) of Liberty Center, Corinne McCormick (John) of Holland, Christina Jones (Luke) of Delta, Ohio, Tom (Tammy) of Curtice, David (Lora) of Rossford and Neil of Toledo; and his sister-in-law Marilyn (Ken) of Toledo. He is also survived by four stepchildren, twelve grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
