He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Vance and Maude Penwell Vance. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Lou Haught Vance; his son Dustin Vance; his stepson Michael Slone; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Slone and Emily Slone; his siblings, Danny Vance, Patricia Henry, Robin Edwards and Margie Jackson; his aunt Betty Vance Gabel; his uncles, Elmer Vance and Samuel Vance; and his pet Ellie.
