He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert Sr. and Margaret Louise Williams Stewart; his granddaughter Cheyenne Marie Gilbert; his siblings, Shannon Stewart, Johnny Stewart Jr., Jason Frisbie, Janine Frisbie, Kelly Frisbie, Debbie Frisbie, Becky Frisbie and Jackie Frisbie; and his uncle Jerry Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, James Eugene "Jes" Stewart (Jackie Brittingham), Chelsi Marie Gilbert (Jeremy), Christopher Matthew Stewart (Betsy Ann) and Carson James William Stewart; his grandchildren, Noah James Stewart, Shayleigh June Stewart, Carter Mackenzie Stewart, Jaidan Rayne Marie Gilbert, Isaac Ray Scott Gilbert and MaLeah Sue Gilbert; the mother of his children Angela Zurface; and his siblings, Mary Ycaza (Mark) and Christopher Frisbie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
