He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearlin Sutliff and Martha Sutliff (Kincaid); his wife Virginia Bailey; his daughters, Charlene and Wendy Sutliff; and his sisters, Bonnie Culp, Martha Everitt, Rose Marie Heitz and Rebecca Lupco.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Evvs; his granddaughters, Hope, Melody, Jo Lynn and Miranda; and his siblings, Fred, Frank, David Sutliff, Sarah West, Susan Wildman, Kathleen Heidelberg, Diane Gill, Sharon Speith, Doris Knepper and June Wingfield. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
