He was predeceased by: his wife Betsy Bruening. He is survived by: his children, Andy Bruening, Kate Ilg, Maggie Parker and Be Bruening; and his siblings, Bob Bruening, Jerry Bruening and Patty Fatsie. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
