He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence and Joseph. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alina, Anton, Andrew and Theodore; his children, Nathan (Jessica) and Nicole (Adam Mortus); his siblings, Paula Jarrell (late Phillip) and Cassandra Hamilton (Jerry); and his aunts and uncles, William Studeny (late Patricia) and Eronim "George" Fantana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association – Northern Ohio Chapter, Hospice of the Western Reserve Ames Family Hospice House, or St. Mary Romanian Orthodox Cathedral.
