We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2021, at the age of 78, Michael F. Sweeney (Fairview Park, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eileen; his daughter Coleen Dziak (Timothy); his grandchildren, Noah and Eliese; and his sisters, Anna Marie Smith (Tom) and Eileen Bulan (Richard).

“Dear Eileen and Collen and family I just found out about Mike tonight at 5:30 mass I went directly to talk to Father Lanning after mass I thought I misunderstood I don’t understand last I saw Mike at Giant Eagle and we talked everything seemed quote ok/I have always felt Mike was so caring and so kind to everyone he met and I am Truly Sorry to hear about your loss/ I was one of his Eucharistic ministers I will truly miss him!God Bless You All and Keep you Safe !”

I met Mike years ago when we sat in the front row of St. Angela’s 4:30pm Mass every week. Mike was such a kind, spiritual, faith-filled man. I’m a teacher at St. Bernadette School & Mike would always ask about my students & family and would pray for them in his daily prayers. I believe we have a new advocate in heaven.”
