She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George; her siblings-in-law, Helga and John Egel; her nieces, Margot Maurer (Richard) and Diane Egel; her nephew John E. Egel (Sheryl); her great-nephews, Stefan and Erik; and her great-niece Nicole.
Family suggests contributions in her memory to the Donauschwaben's German American Cultural Center.
