He was predeceased by: his brother William Hetzel (Sandy); his parents, Ernest Blum and Katharina Blum; and his sister-in-law Barbara Mass. He is survived by: his wife Marie Blum; his children, Rachel Limpert (Jim), Melissa Barhoover (Bryon) and Manfred M. Blum; his grandchild Emrie Limpert; and his siblings-in-law, Henri Ludwig (Maria) and Theresa Pfaff (late Wilhelm).
