He was predeceased by: his child Barrett; his parents, Joseph and LuLu; and his siblings, Mary Mecialis (Leo), Ann Thomas (George), Sadie Byke (George), George (Peg), Georgette Holt (Earl) and Rose Hansen (Fred).

He is survived by: his spouse Bobbie; his daughter Amanda Steyer (Grant); his grandchildren, Jude, Asher and Josephine Steyer; and his siblings, Helen Dagostino (late Pete) and Joseph "Duke" (Gladys).
