It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert James Trayte of Fairview Park, Ohio, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert J. Trayte, Sr. and Sylvia Trayte (Simecek); his spouses, Mary (Buck) of Year's Eve and R. N.; and his brother Ronald Trayte.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Freeman (James) of Philadelphia, H. James of Fairview Park, Jane Dus (Stanley) of Rocky River and Maureen Engeler (Phil) of Huron; his grandchildren, Gregory Engeler (Taylor), Madeline Ring (Eli), Lilly Engeler and Amber Staab; his great grandchild Arianna Staab; and his close friend Ellen Holland.
