She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Slater and Mildred Slater (Jindra). She is survived by: her husband Michael J. Voinovich; her children, Karen (Tom Moore), Ellen (Matt Matisko) and Michael C. (Kristin); and her grandchildren, Allison, Matthew, Michael, Ben and Lauren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine's name may be made to Birthright of Cleveland.
