She was predeceased by: her son Robert Colby (Leslie); her parents, Rupert F. Cox and Minnie C. Cox; her husband William M. Colby; her grandson Colby Smith; her siblings, Mary Slabaugh (Watson), Emily Beard-Herrick (Robert), Rupert (Mary Alice) and Richard C. Cox; and her brother-in-law Albert L. Allen, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Colby and Bruce Colby (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Courtney Timko, Rodney Smith, Tommy Smith, Melissa Barney, Monica Starkey, Allison Spies and Jonathan Colby; her great grandchildren, Jolie, Tyler Smith, Jake, Evan Starkey, Hayden, Owen Barney, Louisa, Calvin and Sylvia Spies; and her sister Nancy Allen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and ten nephews and nieces.
