We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2024, at the age of 73, Steven Donald Finley (Fairlawn, Ohio), born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Steven find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his wife Denise Maroon Finley (Akron); and his parents, Don Finley and MaryJo Finley. He is survived by: his children, Matt and Amanda Dodez (Scott); his grandchildren, Luke and Ella; his siblings, Paul Finley (Denise), Andrew Finley and Kate Schoener; and his furry bud Louie. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ciriello-Carr Memorial (39 S Miller Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Parish (476 Mull Ave, Akron, OH 44320).
