He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Aberth and Laura Aberth (Eggers); his wife Mary Kay; his siblings, Tom (Eloise) and Mary Sterba (Jerry); his brother-in-law Stan Peterson; and his daughter-in-law Kim.
He is survived by: his children, Laura, David and Melissa; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Kate (Ryan), Sarah, Mia and Max; his sisters, Martha Aberth of New Franklin, Ruth Peterson and Lois Sampson (Jack); and his sisters-in-law, Janis Wendelken (Jon) of Akron and Judith Cooper (Lloyd). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fairlawn Lutheran Church (3415 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Northlawn Memorial Gardens (4734 State Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264).
