He was predeceased by: his father Ivan; his sister Ana; his nephew Thomas Ivan; and his mother-in-law Dalene Trejbal. He is survived by: his children, Caroline Elizabeth and John Thomas (Shannon); his mother Caroline Dragica; his siblings, Peter Mahovlic (Barbara), Mira Odorcic and Kathy Skrtic (Frank); his brother-in-law Ron Trejbal (Stacy); his father-in-law Don Trejbal; and his close friend Marigold Mahovlic. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home (3475 Copley Rd, Akron, OH 44321). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Hilary Parish (2750 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333).
