She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas L. Thomas (Atanas Lazo Tančev) and Pauline Kimson Thomas (Para Yakimovska). She is survived by: her sister Marlene Thomas (Thomas W. McCort); her children, Thomas M. McCort and Gaelyn Aguilar; her son-in-law Gustavo Aguilar; her grandchildren, Sarah and Tyler McCort; and her nephews, Trevor and Theron Toney. She is also survived by cousins, friends, and Pi Beta Phi Sorority sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ciriello-Carr Memorial (39 S Miller Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St Thomas Eastern Orthodox Church (555 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Rose Hill Burial Park (3653 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any non-profit organization that supports women's equity in education and the workplace.
