He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil and Maria; and his wife Cveta. He is survived by: his daughter Julia Zumpano; his son-in-law Joseph Zumpano; his siblings, Nellie Contino (Joseph) and Vladimir (Theresa); his grandchildren, Zeno, Zaiya and Zoe; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Minev (Stacey), Chris Minev (Slavina), David Contino (Vanessa), Stephanie Savvaidis (Ted) and Natalie Minev.
