He is survived by: his wife Susan Anderson; his stepchildren, Rick Taphorn (Roanna), Christina Smith (Tommy), Katie Mays (Anthony Bocock) and Jacob Mays (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Larry Messer, Amelia Taphorn, Parker Smith, Joseph Taphorn, Sebastian Bocock, Gatlin Mays and Wilder Mays; and his great grandchild Eden May-Messer.
