He was predeceased by: his parent Virgil R. Edna Moss, Sr.; and his children, Tina Barnhart and Marvin Clayton Moss. He is survived by: his wife Maggie Moss; his children, Priscilla Soland (Danny) of Lancaster and Jeremy Moss (Ciaran) of Fairfield Beach; and his siblings, Sherman Moss Bremen (Irene) of Columbus, Denny Moss of Columbus, Joseph Moss (Connie) of Columbus, Glenna Gursky (Frank) of Columbus, Darlene Stokes (Chuck) of Columbus and Donna Leggett of Columbus. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
