Brophy; his former wife Sofia Valdivia of Fairfield, OH; his mother Sarah "Peg" Brophy of Lenox, MA; his siblings, Jim Brophy (Mary Lou) of Boynton Beach, FL, Kathy Lane (Dennis) of Dalton, MA, Lynn Devine (John) of Portland, ME, Peggy Sedgwick (Mike Organ) of Evansville, IN and Jacky Brophy (Lenny Wheeler) of Bracey, VA.; his goddaughters, Beth and MaryEllen; and his uncle Lawrence O'Melia (Barbara). He was also cherished by nine nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Agnes Church, or Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, of Fairfield, OH, in care of the funeral home.
