He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Pigman (Shelton); his sister Sheryl D (Pigman); his great-nephew Strawther C Anderson; and his grandparents, Walter, Lucy Shelton, Hester and Ida Pigman.

He is survived by: his nephews, Shane (Lisa) and Kyle (Candace); his great-nieces, Emma, Ava, Nora and Kamryn; and his great-nephew Neil.
