He is survived by: his wife Debra Laino; his son Jason Lee Schutte (Nikki); his stepchildren, Suzy Fazzalaro (Michael), Michelle Mundy (Keith), Chris Laino (Rachel), Jon Laino Allison (Jessica) and Catherine Laino; his grandchildren, Sloane Schutte and Willow Schutte; his stepgrandchildren, Matt Truett, Kingston Mundy, Mikey Fazzalaro and Griffin Ellis; his brother Dennis Schutte (Diane); his nephew Jeff Schutte (Abby); his nieces, Jill Sandlin (Glen), Joy Schutte and Lisa Frey (Tom); his son Jay; and also, Jay and Tyler.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory (4976 Winton Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014). A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
