With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald E. Emmel of Fairfield, Ohio, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hedwig Emmel and William Emmel. He is survived by: his wife Ellen (Heeg); his children, Chris Emmel (late Brigetta Delgado-Emmel) of Seattle, WA, Steve Emmel of Cincinnati, OH, Greg Emmel (Cara) of Daniel Island, SC and Diane Gilreath (Garrett) of Cincinnati, OH.; his grandchildren, Samantha, Chloe Gilreath, Brooke and Cate Emmel; his siblings, Herb Emmel (Faye) of Sanford, MI and Ruth Emmel of North Ft; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Slivka (late Larry) of West Harrison, IN and Linda Gerding (Bob) of Cincinnati.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation & Hospice of Cincinnati.
