He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sechrist and Catherine Sechrist; and his wife Judy Sue Sechrist. He is survived by: his sons, William Sechrist (Karen), Robert Sechrist (Sandy), Steven Sechrist (Jennifer) and Donald Sechrist (Cindy); and his siblings, John Sechrist (Carol) and Betty Stanford (Alan). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
