He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Cheatwood and Lula Cheatwood; his children, David Cheatwood and Barbara Blevins; and his siblings, Jerry Cheatwood, Bert Kenneth Cheatwood, George Cheatwood, Dorothy Cheatwood, Joann McLin, Ruthanna Driscoll, Alice Littleton and Nancy Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Leda F. Cheatwood; his children, Debra Cheatwood, Lisa (Shi Bay) and Kevin Cheatwood (Carrie); and his sister Jewell (Delbert Woodgeard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
