She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Mayes and Grace Mayes (Fannin); her former husband Virgil Wardlow; her sisters, Margie Mayes and Eileen Campbell; her brothers-in-law, Gene Campbell and Gene Howard; her sons-in-law, Michael Dunaway, Howard Shalloe (Mike) and Curtis Byrd; and her grandson Joshua Dunaway.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Byrd and Cindy Shalloe; her sisters, Carol Howard and Bonnie Standifer (Bo); her grandchildren, Molly Shalloe, Michael Shalloe and Benjamin Shalloe; her great grandchildren, Aeris and Gaige Roark; and her stepchildren, Rochelle, Paul, Dan and Doug Roberts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nellie's memory to First Baptist Church of Hamilton, Samaritan's Purse or Students for Life.
