He is survived by: his wife Sondra Smith (Williams); his mother Marjorie Loomis Smith; his stepchildren, Diana Garrett (Mark) of Ohio, Donnie Carter (Brenda) of Ohio, Tonya Leasure (Chad Tipple) of Ohio, Rich Carter (Krista) of Florida and Threasa Mernedakis of Florida; and his siblings, Debbie Fussnecker (Wayne) of Alabama, Diane Apelu of Ohio, Steve Smith of Ohio, Richard Smith (Lori) of Ohio, Terry Smith (Terri) of Ohio, Lisa Smith of Ohio and Todd Smith of Ohio. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
