He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Urbassik and Josephine Urbassik; his siblings, Lou and Susan; and his brother-in-law Steve.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Urbassik; his children, Michaele Tomrell (Cam) and Ryan Urbassik (Sarah); his grandchildren, Micah, Caleb, Josie, Aidan Urbassik and J. D. Tomrell; his sisters, Nancy, Helen and Delores; and his siblings-in-law, Rhona and Rich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
