She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gassensmith and Janet Gassensmith (Moyemont) of Joliet, IL.; her brother-in-law Walter G. Dudek; and her mother-in-law Stella Dudek (Janik). She is survived by: her husband Stanley Dudek; her children, Carolyn Dudek and Walter Dudek; her daughter-in-law Lynn Dudek (Sostarich); her granddaughters, Katherine and Allison Dudek; and her brothers, Gene Gassensmith (Joy Niner Gassensmith) and Jim Gassensmith (Fran LoCascio Gassensmith). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to either the Lane Library of Fairfield or Animal Friends Humane Society (Hamilton).
