He was predeceased by: his mother Stella Thomas Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Woodrum Thomas; his children, Chad Thomas of Fairfield Township, OH and JoAnn Gohs of Fairfield Township, OH; his grandchildren, Carrie and Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Silas and Eli.
