He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth C. Roof and Gladys Evelyn Roof (Warren); his daughter Kristy Collins; and his siblings, Janean Gray, Joyce Hubbard and James Roof.

He is survived by: his daughter Rhiannon Riethmaier; and his sisters, Annette Pate (Joseph) and Barbara Holland. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren; Seven Great Grandchildren.
