It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Pickering (Fairfield, Ohio), born in Urbana, Ohio, who passed away on March 15, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Pickering (Huffman) and Robert Pickering; and his siblings, Dorma Ross and Richard Pickering. He is survived by: his wife Hallie Pickering (Turner); his children, Dawana Dittgen (Jim), Becky Cortner (Scott) and Robert Pickering; his grandchildren, Jason Brunsman (Susy), Brad Brunsman, Amanda Brunsman and Audrey Pickering; his sister Phyllis Detwiller (Allen); and his friend Jerry Damewood. He is also survived by Sisters and Brothers in Law, Nieces, Nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Wounded Warriors or American Red Cross.
