He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lipscomb and Elizabeth Lipscomb (Ballerino); his wife Roberta; his brother Neil; and his son James Lipscomb Jr. Jim.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Lipscomb (Denise) and Linda Eschenbrenner (Donald); and his grandchildren, Nicole Vader (Dail), Brandon Burtis (Becca), Ryan, David, Elizabeth, Clayton Eschenbrenner and Elena Lipscomb. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
