He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle DeWitt and Lillian Mae Day (Williams); and his sister Elizabeth Reid. He is survived by: his wife Jean Day (Fuerst); his sons, Jason and Jordan Day (Katie); his granddaughters, Hannah Elizabeth and Lucia Josephine Day; and his nieces, Dawn Mitchell and Melinda Hart.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Ave. Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
