He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patrick and Alice Rose Mara (Kleinwaechter); and his sisters, Patricia Alice Wells and Kathleen Rose Larkin. He is survived by: his son Jim Mara (Dawn); and his grandchildren, Nikki Mara (Zach Schott) and Jimmy Mara Jr..
