He was predeceased by: his mother Cymbeline Sheppard (Hodges); his wife Mary Palmatier; his son William Steele; his sister Deborah Hines; his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Sibert (Betty) and Robert Moberly (Henrietta); his great grandchild Roslyn Bresnen; his son-in-law Quiller Baker; and his granddaughter-in-law Deanne Steele.
He is survived by: his father Gilbert Henry Palmatier; his children, Cindy Lunsford (Tim Thackeray), Fred Steele and Nancy Baker; his grandchildren, Todd Steele, Tracey Gregory, Quiller Baker (Monica), Crystal Bresnen (Derek), Lauren Lunsford (Justin Halsey) and Leslie Lunsford; his great grandchildren, Lacey Nafe (Darrell), Alana Steele, Samantha Goodpaster (Guy), Ellen Windhorst (Brandon), David Rogers, Naomi, Shea Baker, Aubrey Mrusek, Serenity Jeffers, Hailie Weekley, Rylie, Hudson, Graci Halsey, Malachi, Malique, Zadie Wenstrup, Paisley, Harper, Jasper Bresnen, Breanna, Gabe and Bella Thackeray; his great great-childrens, Jackson, Nora, Emilia Nafe, Elliot, Bellamy Windhorst and Stetson Goodpaster; and his brothers, Bruce Palmatier (Sherry) and Darrell Shepherd. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home (330 Pershing Ave, Hamilton, OH 45011). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (1602 Greenwood Ave, Hamilton, OH 45011).
