With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary McFarland of Fairfield, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2024 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by : his father Lester Ray McFarland; his sister Brenda Cooper; his parents-in-law, Gilbert and Madeline Grote; and also Heaven.

He is survived by : his mother Henrietta; his wife Valerie; his children, Greg (Michelle) and Allison (Carl); his grandchildren, Brian, Katelyn and Joey; and his siblings, Lester, Sharon Lunsford, Barb Sears and Dennis Grote (Roxanne).

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Spring Grove Funeral Home - TriCounty (11285 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246). A reception was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the TriCounty Reception Center (11285 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246).
