He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen Ely Eichstadt; his children, Andrew Eichstadt of Columbus, Ohio, Amy Eichstadt Waun (Scott) of Loveland, Ohio and David Eichstadt (Kate) of Northbrook, Illinois.; his brother John Eichstadt of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Makenna Eichstadt, Quinn Lockhart, Abigail (Emily Waun) and Michael (Julia Eichstadt); his siblings-in-law, Margene Ely Dean (Tom) of San Diego, Calif, Anne Ely Kenlon (Dan) of Portland, Ore. and Joe Ely (Gretchen) of West Lafayette, Ind.; and his parents, Francis J. Eichstadt and Pauline Mackiewicz Eichstadt.
